Achievements

Melodi Music Project is proud of its Ensembles and their achievements. Both ensembles have played at a number of corporate functions in and around Johannesburg, with a wide repertoire that includes Classical, Jazz and African music. To book an ensemble, please click here.

Since 2008, Melodi Music has been part of the Mozart Festival presented by Apollo Music Trust. It has also been invited to play at Baroque in the Bush, a  weekend of Baroque music in the Kruger National Park  with Richard Cock and the Johannesburg Festival Orchestra, every year since 2006.

In December 2007, Melodi Music Ensemble undertook its first European Tour during which it was invited to perform at the Hague conservatoire as well as the Amsterdam Bachzaal School. It also toured the UK giving concerts in Manchester, London and Wiltshire.

The ensemble has been invited once again to perform in Leeds, London, the Netherlands and Germany in December 2009. During this, the ensemble’s second European tour, it will hold over 10 public concerts, attend a number of workshops and receive private lessons at the Hague Conservatoire.
